OBEY CLOTHING CABLE KNIT ANCHORS
This was a project I did for Obey Clothing where they needed a late shirt graphic for the women’s line. They knew they wanted an anchor that looked like it was cable knit. I knew they liked a photocopied art style so I sort of digitally collaged and manipulated some cable knit images into an anchor. I did a version where I sketched that and a version where I made it look photocopied. They ended up using both styles of the artwork on different garments.
